Following the Queen’s official birthday this weekend, a royal ranking released by eBay.co.uk has revealed Her Majesty is still Britain’s favourite Royal. Over the past three months, the online marketplace has seen nearly 300 items related to the Queen sold every day on site; that’s 12 items an hour and a 20% increase in sales since her actual birthday in April.
The Queen is selling more than four times as many items than all the princes combined , with listings including everything from a £20,000 piece of art to Queen Elizabeth badges.
Prince Harry, comes ‘top of the princes’ at second place, selling 30 items every day – that’s one every hour ; with Prince William coming in third selling 23 items per day. Making her debut in eBay’s royal ranking, Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton gracefully takes fourth place selling more than 20 items every day, with current listings including limited edition prints for nearly £500 and masks.
Prince George narrowly misses the ranking this time, selling 16 items every day in the last three months, with his little sister selling half as much in the same amount of time.
