London Fashion Week SS14 saw fashionistas from across the world hit the cobbles of London’s Somerset House to celebrate the return of everybody’s favourite fashion event. Street style photographers were out in full force to capture the hottest looks and over the last week eBay has seen sales of pink jackets, tartan and ankle socks soar as Brits head to the site to snap up the latest trends.
Sales of pink coats have almost doubled over the last seven days, whilst sales of tartan skirts are up by 35% and tartan trousers are up by over 50% as the nation is inspired by the likes of Cara Delevingne who has recently been spotted sporting the trend of the moment. Proving that attention to detail is key this season; sales of ankle socks have also soared, this time by more than double since August.
Emily Kerr, UK head of fashion, eBay says; “With over 700 women’s tartan trousers currently on the site, eBay offers fashion fans the perfect platform to keep up to date with the latest trends.”
