As the 30th anniversary of the King’s passing approaches (16th August), research by eBay.co.uk has revealed Elvis reigns supreme among the pantheon of deceased rock legends, with

Music memorabilia items sold on the site over the last three months related to Elvis have received the highest selling prices – on average £22.62 per item.

On average 250 items of Elvis music memorabilia sell every week, compared to John Lennon’s 55 items per week. Bottom of the charts is the Lizard King Jim Morrison, with just under 20 items a week traded.
