Dallas Fever Hits eBay with Sales in Cowboy Hats Soring
23rd August 2012
After 21 years Dallas is heading back to UK screens and Brits are preparing for the iconic TV series in more ways than one. Sales of Dallas memorabilia on eBay.co.uk have risen 400% since the return announcement, with the most popular purchases being easy to wear ‘JR EWING for President’ t-shirts and personalised Dallas mugs.
But that’s not all. The notorious JR has inspired a huge 133% rise in sales of Stetson hats in the past month alone. The Sue Ellen look is another must, as people prepare themselves for big 80s hair, sales of hairspray have risen by 135% and rollers by 182%. Even sales of Benefit’s ‘Dallas’ Bronzer have risen by 150% as the Dallas theme turns memorabilia to gold dust.
