eBay, Australia’s largest online shopping destinations, has today launched a campaign targeted at the multi-screened savvy Sunday shoppers wanting big brands at great prices from the convenience of their lounge room.
All retailers with an online presence know the best time to reach their customers online is when the traditional shops close their doors. eBay is making the most of the fact that Sunday night sees the most amount of traffic to the site and is teaming up with big branded retailers and favoured sellers to deliver different deals every Sunday until September.
The 15 week fully integrated campaign will roll out on TV, mobile, Outdoor, print, social and online, not to mention on eBay’s own site reaching a whopping 7.3 million visitors each month. The campaign is fully optimised on mobile allowing shoppers to grab great bargains wherever they may be spending their Sundays. They will be directed to a dedicated microsite where they will see different deals each Sunday.
Steve Brennan, eBay’s Senior Director of Marketing and Advertising Sales said “We know that Australians love to shop from the comfort of their couch and we consistently see our highest traffic come through on a Sunday. The new retail game is about being where your customers are at a time that is convenient to them. All we are doing with this campaign is making the bargains easier to find than ever before”
Big Sundays launch at 10am each Sunday and run through to midnight Sunday night giving customers all day to take advantage of the sales. And with savings such as 15% of the Good Guys and up to 70% of Pumpkin Patch, Sunday nights are set be a pretty BIG deal on eBay. www.ebay.com.au/sundays
