Caleb and his father have shared a love of remote control airplanes since Caleb was a young boy. This hobby is what led them to eBay, both as buyers and casual sellers. In 2002, at a hobbyist air show for remote control planes, Caleb and his dad met an importer of high-end remote control products who asked if they’d be interested in selling these products. The father-son duo began selling on their own website, and then on eBay.
After college, Caleb worked a corporate finance job until 2014 and then decided to join his father back in the business full-time. Since then, they’ve been flying high – and sales have taken off, too.
